IQ given recognition in CBI ‘Stepping Higher’ report
The relationship between The Institute and the University of Derby was given recognition the CBI ‘Stepping Higher’ report published in October. The report, which focused upon work development through employer-higher education partnership, featured The Institute of Quarrying and the Institute of Asphalt Technology in conjunction with the University of Derby as class leading examples of co-operation between industry and academia under the heading ‘Extracting Knowledge’ (page 84).
