How can I obtain a proposer and seconder?
It is likely that you meet members whilst working in the industry so ask around. If, however, you are new to the area, job or industry the best means of meeting members is to attend technical evenings and social events organised by the local branch.
Contact the local Branch Secretary and inform him or her that you would like to attend a meeting and you will be made welcome.
Information on the branches and their events can be found here.
