The IQ Academy webinar series returned for 2019 with Colin Nottage from IMG to take a look at incident investigation and what positives can be taken away from these events, helping to safeguard against future occurrences.

Colin writes a blog for the Agg-Net website and also chairs the Construction Dust Partnership, a group aimed at raising awareness of harmful dusts in the construction industry.

This session focused on how positives can be drawn from events, whether they be unsafe behaviours, lost time injuries, major injuries or fatalities Colin will talk about using the learning points from these events to better plan for the future.

Colin will explore his 30 years in the quarrying industry and bring a light and professional approach to what can be a difficult topic and demonstrate that real positives can be derived even when things appear really bleak.

If you missed out, you can catch up on a recording of the session or view a copy of the slides here.
