The first meeting of 2016 for the Yorkshire Branch was held at the Bridge Inn, Wetherby, and welcomed Chris Barlow of EPC and Ian Russell of Codeway for a presentation on the updated track and trace regulations for the transport of explosives.

The Yorkshire Branch hosted its annual joint health & safety conference with HSE at Scotch Corner 17 September 2015. These conferences have been held over a number of years and their popularity is such that numbers this year were at the maximum of 150 both at Scotch Corner and also at the second conference held in Chesterfield.

The final Yorkshire branch meeting of the season and AGM took place 14 April 2015 at the Bridge Inn, Walshford. Simon Broad, the current branch Chairman stood down and handed over to Graham Lamond who will complete his term after cutting short his tenure in 2011 for a 3-year contract in Togo, West Africa.
