Presentation Items

Introduction

The Institute holds stock of two presentation items - Long Service Medals and Tankards, which are available for purchase from Nottingham for presentation on suitable occasions. Both bear the Institute’s Coat of Arms.

Long-Service Medals

These silver medals are available for purchase by companies wishing to recognise employees who have spent at least 40 years working within the quarrying industry. Each medal is inscribed to the required specification and offered in a custom-made presentation case. Two weeks’ notice is required to allow for engraving and delivery and each medal costs £100 plus VAT.

Tankards

The tankards are designed in pewter and are usually presented by the Institute to members in recognition of a particular service performed which has been of special benefit to the Institute. Tankards are usually personalised with the engraving of the recipient’s initials. Cost £28 plus VAT.
