Description

The Derbyshire branch's next technical event is the Drill & Blast Techniques used at the Woodsmith Mine Shaft Sinking Project presented by Neil Webster of Joseph Gallagher. Neil has spent the last 21 years in the drilling and blasting industry, with experience in underwater, quarries, tunnelling and shaft sinking. On his current project at Whitby, he is responsible for all aspects of the drill and blast process. The presentation will run through the methods used to drill and blast the MTS Shaft. It is full of photos with absolute minimal text. Refreshments will be available on the night. Please confirm your attendance by Monday, 11th September 2023 to help with provision of this.
