Description

The Devon & Cornwall branch is arranging a visit to the King Edward Mine Museum.  This is limited to 50 attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.

The award-winning King Edward Mine Museum specialises in the mining history of Cornwall. The mine dates from the 19th century and most of the equipment in the mill has been restored to working order. The buildings are all Grade II listed and are of National importance. The site is part of the World Heritage Area of Cornwall.

We will meet at 13:30 at the museum and the visit will take place between 14:00 and 16:00.  Afterwards, we will then go on for food at a local pub.
