Description

Richard Nevin is the Area Operations Manager for Hanson and in his spare time, he is a volunteer as an Ambulance First Responder for the Yorkshire Ambulance and East Midlands Ambulance Service, responding to 999 calls from home. His talk will cover: 1. What volunteer ambulance responders do (the vast majority of the general public do not know we exist) 2. What to do during a first aid incident 3. Good and bad examples of incident management 4. What to expect when the emergency services arrive 5. Legislation
