Description

The Derbyshire branch are pleased to announce their next technical event will be the University of Derby Honours Projects presented by James Forrester, Aggregate Industries and Lewis Pinch, Tarmac. Lewis will be discussing his recent project titled ‘0/4mm Washed Limestone Sand’ and how he studied and conducted trials to improve the Cement raw feed homogenisation, improve the washed limestone blend and then create a solution for handling the surplus slurry.

James will be discussing his recent study titled ‘Best Methods to Eliminate Deleterious Materials Leaving Quarries'. His project looked to address the problem of materials tracking out onto the public highway, what the main causes and issues were, studies and trialling different methods of preventing the issues from reoccurring.
