The countdown to the biggest quarrying exhibition of its kind in the world has begun and the Institute of Quarrying (IQ) is proud to be supporting Hillhead 2018.
Running for three days from 26-28 June at HillheadQuarry, Buxton, the international professional body for the mineral extractives industry, IQ, is delighted to sponsor a new online planning tool ‘Engage’, as well as take a stand at the exhibition (location RB26).
‘Engage’ has been introduced by show organisers, the QMJ Group, to help visitors more effectively plan their time at Hillhead. The new, easy to use web tool helps the visitor to build a wishlist of exhibitors to visit along with the option to pre-book appointments and makes recommendations of ‘not to be missed’ show features right at the visitor’s fingertips.
Sarah Fry, business development and communications manager at IQ, says: “We are pleased to be sponsoring the Engage tool that will help all Hillhead visitors get the maximum continuing professional development (CPD) value from their time at the show.”
The location of the IQ stand will be right at the heart of the registration area. IQ is encouraging both members and non-members to visit the stand in order to discover the latest membership and skills developments available. Raffle tickets will also be handed to members who show their membership card, with a range of IQ branded merchandise up for grabs.
