Aimed at 18+ year olds who want a career in the extractive industry. Anyone wanting to study this apprenticeship must have two A-levels at A to C or equivalent and be employed by a company. Once the apprenticeship is completed, learners will have the following qualifications:
The apprenticeship is a two year programme starting in September each year. In the first year apprentices cover general topics and in the second year choose a specific industry pathway to follow such as extractives, asphalt, cement, concrete and clay.

Once you complete your apprenticeship, you can go on to study for a full Honours Degree in Minerals Management.
