The mission of the Heavy Clay Technology Association (HCTa) is to promote heavy clay technology on a UK and international basis and provide its members with opportunities to broaden their professional outlook, skills and qualifications. 

The HCTa aims to continually improve it’s provision of courses which provide technical meetings, events, education and training and local networking through local societies to the industry.

The HCTa oversees a range of courses from different training providers, starting at a Level 2 Introduction to the Heavy Clay Industry for those just starting out, through to a full degree in Minerals Management for those who wish to develop a deep technical knowledge of the processes and procedures within the industry.
