The Early Careers Geoscientists Group returns with an online event from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Thursday, 6th November 2025.

The event features engaging skills sessions led by both members and external speakers, on the role of geology in extractive operations - the deposits, the products and how to extract them. Full detailed agenda to follow.

What is the ECGG?

The ECGG is a forum specifically created for enhancing the personal development and networking opportunities for early career geoscience professionals working within the quarrying industry.

We welcome geoscience professionals with less than 10 years pre-chartership industry experience and up to 5 years post-chartership experience (a maximum of 15 years total).
