Over the years, IQBF has helped many members and their families through some of the most challenging times in their lives and we continue to do so. This has included help with bills after bereavement, funding towards training and paying for a car conversion so that it is accessible for a disabled child. We also offer support, information and signposting where relevant.
An insight into assistance the fund provides can be viewed in our case study with James, a dependent of a former member of the IQ.
People contacting IQBF can be assured that their situation will be treated with discretion and care. Every request for financial assistance is considered and reviewed by the IQBF Board of Trustees.
Uncover more about the IQ Benevolent fund in the Q&A session available below.
Recognising that the pandemic is likely to create additional stress for many, IQBF have put together an emergency fund that IQ members can access. Read further information about this fund here.
We have pulled together a list of other organisation that may be able to help with financial, legal and wellbeing difficulties which you can find here.
If you need support or to see if you can receive direct financial help from IQBF, please contact the Welfare Officer, Wanda Zablocki directly on iqbf@quarrying.org or 0115 855 6500.
