Heavy Clay UK returns!

The Heavy Clay Technology Association, in partnership with the Institute of Quarrying are pleased to announce Heavy Clay UK 2026!

The exhibition and conference event will return to its original face-to-face format, for a scaled-back one day event packed with exhibitors, attendees, and guest speakers relevant to the clay manufacturing industry.

In recognition of the difficult economics currently surrounding the clay industry, this year's event will be free to attend to all attendees.

Exhibitors will also be able to secure smaller stand spaces for this year that require minimal set up at a lower cost.

Confirmed Speakers so far

Neil Frost-Peacock, MP Skills General Manager

Neil Frost-Peacock, General Manager of MP Skills, will provide an overview of the HCTa Level 2 and 3 programmes, highlighting how these qualifications develop technical knowledge, support career progression and strengthen skills across the heavy clay industry.

The session will also outline the course structure, blended learning approach and benefits for both employees and employers.

Julian Bulley, Director of GPS Inspections Ltd, will draw on 35 years of quarrying experience to explore perimeter inspections, site responsibilities, regulatory requirements and the consequences of non-compliance, while sharing practical guidance on improving standards and achieving compliance.

Atlantic Pumps (Speaker to be confirmed)

Atlantic Pumps will provide an informative overview of pumping equipment used across the quarrying and mineral products industry.

The presentation will explore pump selection, operation and maintenance, while highlighting common challenges and practical considerations for achieving reliable and efficient performance in demanding site conditions.
