The West of England Branch would like to invite you to the opening event of the year, which is our 100th AGM, reviewing 2025 and setting the scene for 2026.
The Annual General Meeting for the West of England Branch will be held at The Double Tree by Hilton, Woodlands Lane, Bradley Stoke, North Bristol. This venue has proved to be both convenient to locate and enter/exit the car park.
The AGM will commence at 5.30pm prompt in The Redcliffe Room No.1 on Monday, 19th January 2026. A cash bar, located in the Redcliffe Lobby, is available from 6:00pm with the customary dinner commencing at 6.30pm in the Redcliffe Rooms 2 and 3.
To celebrate this centenary edition of our AGM, what better way to review 2025 and set the standard for 2026 than have the after dinner presentation led by our industry standard bearer, Carl Denley of the HSE, who will give us his review of what was good and not so good in 2025 and focus areas for 2026.
In an effort to minimise costs we have reverted to the traditional format of the fixed menu as a sit down meal for the reduced price of £32 per head with a concession rate of £25.00 for students and retirees.
Whilst round tables of 10 will be available as normal for companies to book, seating is unallocated and members will be free to sit where they like, and we hope that this format will continue to provide a relaxed and enjoyable opportunity to network freely.
We are always seeking new committee members, anyone wishing to stand for election to the committee, should contact Rod Noble by email, using the nomination form (which will follow in a later email). Any member who wishes to nominate another member for election, must also complete the attached form, ensuring that the nominee is prepared to stand for election.
Please note that Parking Eye is in operation at the hotel. Car parking is offered complimentary to branch members attending both the AGM, and dinner. However, ALL vehicles MUST be registered on arrival using one of the terminals in the hotel reception. Any car not registered will be fined by Parking Eye.
