Ian Stone of Advance Environmental Consulting Limited is a Principal Scientist specialising in air quality monitoring, analysis and associated impact assessments, primarily in relation to the extractive industries. He has worked as an air quality researcher and consultant for over 40 years both within the UK and overseas, initially with the University of Exeter and latterly with Advance Environmental Consulting Limited.
The presentation will focus on the potential for fugitive emissions associated with the extraction and working of minerals and their potential impact on neighbouring sensitive receptors in respect of nuisance and health.
