The next Derbyshire branch event will be a talk on Peak Cluster – Decarbonising Cement and Lime, presented by David Parkin CEO of Peak Cluster. The talk will be held on Wednesday, 28th October 2026 at the Buxton Rugby Club, 17:30 for 18:00 start. David Parkin, CEO of Peak Cluster will give a presentation on the project. Peak Cluster is a large-scale infrastructure project which will decarbonise cement and lime production across the region, ensuring a long-term, sustainable supply of low carbon essential products for the UK economy. The presentation will cover the need case for Peak Cluster, alternatives that have been considered, the project design and development process, the economics and its current status.
