The IQ Yorkshire Planning Symposium and Clay Pigeon Shoot held on the 24th September was a great success, attracting a strong turnout from across the industry, minerals and planning sectors. The symposium featured insightful presentations and a highly engaging panel session, with plenty of questions from delegates and some lively debate that kept discussions flowing well into the lunch break.

The afternoon clay pigeon shoot provided an excellent opportunity for networking in a more informal setting and was enjoyed by participants of all experience levels.

We were also fortunate to have fantastic weather, making for a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon of friendly competition. Congratulations to all of our prize winners, and a special mention to the recipient of the coveted wooden spoon award, which was accepted with good humour and helped round off the day in true IQ style.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success. Recordings of the presentations will be made available to attendees shortly.
As the first event in our Yorkshire Branch IQ Centenary Year celebrations, it was a fantastic way to kick off a year of activities marking 100 years of the branch. Keep an eye out for more events and opportunities to get involved as the celebrations continue.
