The Institute of Quarrying Northern Ireland Branch will be holding a Field Trip from 6th to 8th September 2026, taking in the EDF nuclear power plant and the MST Engineering factory near Edinburgh, followed by the Komatsu factory in Birtley.
The trip flies out of Belfast International Airport on the Sunday and returns to Belfast late on the Tuesday evening, with overnight stays on both the Sunday and Monday.
Places and cost
Places are limited, so an early expression of interest is recommended. Prices are to be confirmed closer to the date.
