Simon Cady, Director of Racoo Screening Ltd, has over 25 years’ experience in workplace drug and alcohol testing, policy development, and education. During his career, Simon has worked across a wide range of industries, including the quarrying sector, helping organisations develop effective drug and alcohol policies and testing programmes.

In this session, Simon will provide an overview of how drugs are categorised and explain the different types of drug testing available, including oral fluid, urine, and hair testing. He will also explore some of the more topical issues currently affecting employers, including the use of prescribed medications and prescribed medicinal cannabis.

The presentation is intended to be practical and interactive, so Simon welcomes questions and discussion on all aspects of drug and alcohol policy implementation, testing procedures, and best practice in the workplace.
