Visit to Midland Plant & Finning CAT

A Heavy Clay Technology Association visit to Midland Plant Training and Testing (MPTT) and Finning CAT on Wednesday 30 September 2026. Arrive at MPTT from 09:30 for a 10:00 tour, lunch at midday, finishing at 15:30 at Finning CAT in Cannock. MPTT run training on the safe use of lifting, extraction and haulage machinery; Finning CAT supply heavy plant for quarrying operations. Mandatory PPE for the tour is a full high visibility jacket and trousers, safety boots, hard hat and safety glasses. Spaces are limited.
