IQ Scottish - Hybrid Event

AGM, From Risk to Rock

Description
The next Scottish Branch event will be a presentation by Deborah Thomas and Mike Williams of Land and Mineral Consulting, entitled "From Risk to Rock".

They will explore real-world case studies from across the UK - highlighting how geological, geotechnical, and hydrogeological risks can be understood and managed effectively in active quarrying environments, underpinning quarrying decisions. The presentation will also explore the distinction between Regulatory Requirements and Advisory Actions, examining how choices in these areas can influence the balance between safety, efficiency, and sustainability within this high-risk industry".

The event can be attended face-to-face at Stirling (where dinner should be booked if required), online or via one of the below broadcast venues.

Please Note: If when registering you request a meal and fail to attend, or cancel without giving at least 24 hours’ notice that you don't require that meal, we will have no alternative than to hold you responsible for payment of the missed booked meal.
