What is the ECGG?

The ECGG is a forum specifically created for enhancing the personal development and networking opportunities for early career geoscience professionals working within the quarrying industry.

We welcome geoscience professionals with less than 10 years pre-chartership industry experience and up to 5 years post-chartership experience (a maximum of 15 years total).

The ECGG is proud to present ‘The Blasting Experience!’ Held at EPC headquarters and factory on the 26th August 2025 this half day event will consist of a tour and blasting demonstration, plus talks from the experts at EPC-UK

We have only 24 places for this event; 12 in the morning and 12 in the afternoon. Please indicate which session you’d like to attend, but do it quickly as once they’re gone, they’re gone!

11:15 – Talks by the experts at EPC
12:00 – Group 2 arrives, networking lunch for everyone (food provided)
13:00 – Group 1 leaves, group 2 induction, tour, and demo
15:00 – Coffee break
15:15 – Talks by the experts at EPC
16:00 – Close
