Members, Colleagues and Friends, it gives me great pleasure, in my first year as Chair of the Derbyshire Branch, to invite you to our Annual Dinner Dance. This event remains one of the highlights of our branch calendar, bringing together members, industry colleagues, friends and guests from across the quarrying and minerals sector for an evening of celebration, networking and entertainment.
Whether you are a long-standing supporter of the Derbyshire Branch or joining us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you.
The evening will once again be a Black Tie / Evening Dress occasion and will feature live entertainment from Purple Cloud of Funk, together with our resident Disco DJ. Guests are invited to join us from 6:00pm for a complimentary Drinks Reception, providing the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues before dinner is served at 7:00pm.
As in previous years, we will be supporting our nominated charities through the event. In lieu of a fundraising tombola, £5 from every ticket purchased will be donated directly to our chosen causes. A raffle will also be held during the evening, and any prize donations would be greatly appreciated. We may even find time for the traditional impromptu auction that has become a favourite feature of recent Dinner Dances.
