Better Mental Health, Safe Conversations and Lived Experiences

The first event of 2025 for the Derbyshire branch is a presentation by Alex Harrison of Tough Enough to Care, followed by Wanda Zablocki of the IQBF.
Alex, who is a trained and qualified mental health tutor, will be talking about better mental health, safe conversations and lived experiences. The presentation will take the format of a short mental health first aider session.
After Alex's presentation we will be joined by Wanda Zablocki from the Institute of Quarrying Benevolent Fund (IQBF) who will be giving us an update on how the fund is managed, what it can do and how it can help our members and families in times of need.
