The second presentation of 2024 will showcase a broad array of rockfall remedial techniques - ranging from types of containment such as netting and rock traps, to strengthening and support methods, including rock anchors, cable strapping and dentition.
Case studies from quarries and infrastructure sites around the UK and beyond will demonstrate the technical requirements for certain techniques, as well as other considerations that go into the decision-making process.
Corran McArthur and Henry Law of Fairhurst will be delivering this presentation.
This event is being provided face-to-face at Stirling, with a sit-down dinner afterwards.
Alternatively, if you can't make it to Stirling, there are 4 Broadcast Venues around Scotland, where you can watch online with your colleagues.
Please ensure you register at the correct venue, according to your requirements.
