IQ North Wales - Health & Safety Awareness Day

IQ North Wales Branch are delighted to be bringing you a Health & Safety Awareness/CPD Day on Thursday, 26th September 2024. The event will be held at Heidelberg's Cefn Mawr Quarry and the cost to attend is £96 including VAT (£80 excl VAT) per person.

The day will start at 08:00 with tea/coffee and bacon sandwiches and finish at 16:00 with lunch being provided between 12:00 and 13:00.

There will be demonstrations on the below topics to individual groups as follows:

• Explosives Safety – EPC Group
• Hazard Spot & Isolation – Reece Safety
• Fire Safety – O’Heap
• Tyre Safety – Kaltire
• Rescue Technician - North East Wales Search and Rescue (NEWSAR)
• Final demonstration (To Be Confirmed)

PPE is required to attend this event with the minimum requirements being:

1) Safety Helmet

2) Hi-vis Vest or Jacket (coat for inclement weather)

3) Steel toe cap boots (lace-up preferred)

4) Hi-vis Trousers (if possible)

5) Gloves & glasses
