Description

Water-Data-Rocks will be presented by Deborah Thomas, Principal Hydrogeologist at Envireau Water. Deborah has over 10 years of hydrogeological consultancy experience, with a Geology degree from the University of Leicester and an MSc Hydrogeology from the University of Birmingham. Deborah started her career working in International Mining before joining Envireau Water 6 years ago to specialise in the Quarry Hydrogeology and Water Management. The presentation will take you through the dos and don’ts of hydrogeological data collection during the quarry lifetime: from greenfield site, mineral extraction and into restoration. Deborah will discuss not only why she thinks Water-Data-Rocks; but also how the collection of high quality data can support the industry in planning for the future and improving its compliance and sustainability in relation to on-site water use and management.
