Description

Water management at site isn’t just a technical challenge – there are issues related to obtaining and complying with permits and licences to consider, too. This talk will give an overview of water-related permits and licences that might be needed for quarries, how to apply for them, conditions that are commonly attached to these consents and what might happen if those conditions are breached. The talk will conclude with discussion of good practice approaches for permit compliance and managing risks associated with permit conditions.
